The Purpose	The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
	"Adopt-A-Soldier" is a great way to support our troops. How does this work? You will receive a card with the name and e-mail address of a local solider that has recently been deployed. You will be able to correspond with you solider via e-mail and can ask them directly what items they would like to receive in a care package. It is a great way to get involved on a real personal level. If you would like to know more, please contact Paula Skaar at 234-3990. Wesley Community Center is a project of the South Georgia UMC conference which assists families in need. Our United Methodist Women continue to support of this amazing ministry with you canned goods donations.
